Phillip Dobson Fixed w/ Mokume Gane
This just came to me right after Christmas. I contacted Phillip a couple of months ago with a notion that I wanted a symmetrical fixed blade. This is the beauty he came up with - I couldn't be happier with the razor. Phillip was a great pleasure to deal with and his work is stunning. It shaves just as good as it looks.
I would highly recommend contacting him if you are in the market for a custom blade.
Without further ado -
~7/8 with a genuine Mokume Gane inlay. I think the stand is a great touch - it's made of bubinga.

Yup, it's bubinga. It was a surprise to me as well. Phillip sent me a link to the lumbar yard where he picked it up in case I wanted to buy more.
I found his name through SRP :-). I believe he is also well know for his boxes.

from Phil - "It's 52100 at 61hRc. The alloy is made for the ball bearing industry. Very fine grained with a lot of options for heat treatment."
