    Default Wade & Butcher and Wostenholm wedge find

    I found these on ebay. The description said both were 15/16 wedges. Both should clean up nicely. They were mine for 100. I don't know if that's a good price or not but something struck me about them.

    Once they are cleaned up I don't think you will even remember, or care, about the financial aspect of it. For me, nothing beats an old Sheffield wedge. Nice score

    looks like you have a great project. Hand sanding a restoration project can be very zen like.

    Heck yeah, not bad, like rez said, hand sanding is enjoyable, kevlar gloves make it more enjoyable though, havent worn a bandaid in a few weeks now lol.

    Think I'll have to invest in these - my fingertips are shot!

    Lovely pair, hope you enjoy working with them as much as the rest of us do. Those blades will be quite eye catching, especially set in some nice scales!

    Yeah, they are cheaper than an emergency room visit by a long shot, a customer has given me like 30 pairs of them and im still using my first pair, just google dupont kevlar gloves
