Default 5/8th Colonial Steel Co. Razor

It's been about a month since i found another razor to appease my RAD so i picked this one up at the antique store. It's a colonial steel co. Pittsburgh Pa. Has some nice etching in the blade and all i've done so far is polish it with Mothers. Has a small chip near the heal which i hope hones out without too much steel removal.
i'd like to get my own set of stones to do my own sharpening but I figure i need at least six razors to sharpen before i can feel it would be a good investment !

Very fine looking razor. If the chip you are referring to is what I see in the pic approximately less than an inch from the heal it should hone out while re-setting the bevel. Properly honed and maintained the razor should last you a life time.......Enjoy!
