Mystery Straight
So, I was at an antique market in Milan today and came across a razor in decent shape for a measly 10€ so I picked it up. I tried looking up the razor but can't find any info so I was hoping someone here could help me out. It's marked "67 Meiso" on one side and "W Eickenberg, Solingen, made in Germany" on the other. Anyone know the story behind this thing. Is it worth honing up? I can post pics if necessary, for some reason not from my phone right now though...

Ok, here are some pictures. From my very limited experience, the blade looks to be in great shape. It was just a tiny bit rusty, but that wiped right off. The steel is pitted a little, probably from the rust, but not along the cutting edge and only in a very small amount. The spine makes it look like it's either never been honed or only very lightly. I'm going to take it over to the Carabinieri barber and see if he can get it honed. I still don't trust myself enough to attempt it.
