Thanked: 0New guy here
Hello all.
I'm the new guy here, and I just want to make sure I'm following protocol.
If I need to post this in another forum, I hope a moderator will correct my mistake and re-direct me if necessary.
I recently acquired some stuff from a gentleman who attended barber school in 1963. If anybody's interested I'll try and post some pictures. I'm not really interested in the $$ value of the stuff, because the gentleman is a close family member and the items will remain in my possession as long as I'm alive. However, it would be nice to know a little history on the items.
I would like to thank everybody in advance for any information.
If anybody's interested I'll post some information and some pictures if I can.

Thanked: 0Thanks Sirtexan.
I'm new here and I didn't want to step on my wiener right off the bat so I thought I'd ask first.
I'll try and get some pictures taken and uploaded so I can post them.
Thank you very much for the reply.

Thanked: 0I also have some pictures of a couple of stones and a strop that I can post if anybody is interested.
One of the stones and the strop, along with both razors, were the "standard issue" for that particular barber school in 1963.
i hope to restore one or both of the razors into shaving condition and use them if I can learn the process without needing more than 3 pints of blood. the gentleman that gave me the razors told me he would keep 911 on speed dial on his phone for the next couple of months just in case.Last edited by fw707; 01-30-2014 at 03:42 AM.
