Thanked: 4249High quality damascus steel is very expensive, i would question the origin of this razor (Pakistan). That said it might be more usefull as a letter opening device...

Martin speaks the truth. These things are all over ebay. There have been many discussions and tests with similar negative results .

Type in "razors to avoid" in the search box above. Best tool on here to protect new guys from being ripped off. The lite line under the very upper part of the spine; look how it's wavy and larger in one area than the other. Usually means 1. the spine is warped or 2. the grinding was horribly done.

Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
