    Nice bunch of razors there. Scale material is a pretty personal choice. You'll get the traditionalists that say horn and such and the guys who love G10 and Micarta. But in the end the choice is yours and which look will make you think "damn this is great" every time you shave with one.

    I am very fond of bone - very resilient, water impervious and takes a very nice polish with fine sanding.

    I have a hankering to try my hand at Micarta, which may be an idea if you feel adventurous.

    The only material I've worked with (and only 2 rescales at that) is G10, and I found it very easy to work with. Sands well, and can take a polish once you have the shaping done. And it's cheap, so mistakes aren't as frustrating
