Thanked: 127One Week and Seven Razors :-)
One Week and Seven Razors arrived :-)
First was an old Sheffield Blade wich i rescaled with Vintage english Bone Scales, it looks very nice, is heavy & wedge,
it was easy to sharpen and i cant wait to shave with it.
Second was an J.R. Torrey (6/8") very thin grounded Feaux Frameback, rescaled it too but im not sure if i shouldnt rescale it with some better looking scales.
Third was a Bismarck Full Hollow Ground with nice decorated Back in 11/16",
Fourth another Bismarck in 6/8"+ Best german Hollow Ground and
Fifth another Bismarck in 5/8" (im not sure but i think they will leave further or later, theyre a bit the boring kind in my eyes, prefect shavers but i prefer the american Spike Point Razors much more).
Sixth is a very very nice J. Garcia Y Hno. Habana 11/16", shaved with it today and i love it!!!!
Seventh and last but not least, a Wester Bros. Manganese Steel in 6/8" with nice black finished Erl and Tang :-)

Those Bismarcks are lovely.
The fancy one with the spine work, is the first classic Bismarck with that kind of detailing I've seen. If your ever considering selling that razor PM me. I'm currently building my own 7 day Bismarck set.
I'm sat on a 6/8 classic and a 5/8 classic atm and looking every few days for more to add to the collection
Lol just as I posted this I was bidding and won this

So I need 4 more for the 7 day set now. And I want them all to be different.
What the Bismarck razor lacks in looks is made up by the fact they shave so very well, and are a great razor on the hone.Last edited by Iceni; 02-23-2014 at 08:04 PM.

Thanked: 127Thank you all :-)
It was a bit luck to win all seven and a bit crazy too, usually i dont pay so much for Razors, the Wedge (im sorry but i dont know the maufacturer) and the Torrey had a very reasonable price of 30$, especially because they came clean an nice restored.
The two Spike Point Razors had been 50$ together but the Wester Bros seems nearly new and the Garcia is rare, so it was OK.
The Bismarcks, wow, i acted a bit over my limit ;-) I guess you know what i mean when i say it was the heat of the Moment

If you have the time would you do some photo's of the Bismarcks and add them to the "Prussian Statesman, von Bismarck" Razor club thread.

As I said before yours is the first I've seen with fancy spine work. And it would be a very welcomed addition to that thread.Real name, Blake
