Some nice projects you have there!
I had a GB 10/8" with a similar chip, turned out a good shaver at 9/8". To remove at little metal as I could, I straightened the original smile of the razor, but I have to admit that does take away some of the character. As such, I suggest you mark the metal that needs removing and try a few different shapes.I want a lather whip

6/8 W.R. Case & Sons Bradford, PA. GoldNugget needs cleaned up and rescaled...the original scales have shrunk probably 10% lol

That was his rougher stuff....he has 2000 or more to go...
He has a wosty 7 day set in ivory he said.....still has the instructions etc...Nos unused...

He also brought more Razors back with him...he had a lot of very nice razors in a box with cell rot sadly.
