    This just came in the mail for me
    A henckels friodur 7/8 (I think)
    Can somebody tell me if this is a vintage one or a recent one?

    I could be wrong but I believe that if the makers mark is stamped it is vintage. Etched is recent. I could be wrong as I have no idea whoa it changes. There is also a chart of the dancing men somewhere that gives dates on them. It is on this site, I found it before.
    P.S.
    Beautiful blade. I love Henckels, they have kind of come up in price a little, so shhh don't tell everyone what great razors they are.

    Heck yeah, nice razor, I like henckels, at least the one I own (surprisingly I only own 1) you got a great deal imho, id love to try a wider blade henckels, think mine is a 5/8
