    Default New Hart

My first razor finally needed to go off for honing. I figured that I couldn't possibly go without for a few weeks, so this guy showed up in the mail two days later.

I am very excited to try it out.

That looks like an awesome blade. I love the scales, reminds me of the beach somehow. You might not care if your other one never returns!

    I forgot the important details:

Hart Steel 6/8 Satin Finish Square Point Straight Razor
    Caribbean Wave scales

I'm excited to try out the square point.

Nice razor! I have three Harts and love them. FYI even though they say the razors are shave ready. I've had to sharpen all three of mine to suit my definition of sharp.

I got the very same blade a few years ago. Never regretted it. It's still one of my favorite blades. Definitely a keeper.

Very nice scales! Are those custom, or a Hart option?

I have that same blade in 7/8 and 6/8 and, as it happens, ground by the same artisan. I love mine and I am sure you will love yours.

This is an option. They also added another similar one called Royal Camo.
