Thread: Mappin & Webb 7 Day set

Won this on eBay. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or polish them up and sell them on, as I have already spent a lot on razors recently. Appears to be in great original condition, even the lock for the box still works, its just the leather hinge at the back of the box that has torn, should be an easy fix... From what I've read they are great razors? Lynn commented in one post that he likes them, so Im guessing they're pretty decent. Hopefully I can afford to keep them

Really nice set I had my eye on these but decided that the bank of Anthony was a little insolvent at the moment. I've just bought two 7 day sets, one I've sold on but the other is being restored as we speak.
I've also got about 50+ razors to clean restore and get shave ready, so I have to stop myself from pressing that bid now button. Having said that though I've still got my eye on a few more presently on eBay.

Thats an incredible set! The box, the razors, the key, the shoulderless grind on the blades, and the condition is really good. Very unusual to find this kins of set in this condition, a complete set! Enjoy!
