    Default My first Filly.

Hi gents. Won my first Filly on the bay tonight.
Can t wait to get her home and see how she sharpens up. Being stainless steel, I'm sure she'll be a harder hone. A little more slender than I normally ike in a blade, looks to be a 4/8. But heck, I wanted a filly in the rotation, so took a chance.
    Cheers.

Nice looking razor. I think that might be a 3/8 model. A filly has been on my list of razors I want to get for awhile now.

I have had a couple of these smaller Filis and once honed they shave as well as the larger Filarmonicas. The only difference is that you have to wipe/rinse the lather more often.

The ones I had were 4/8 if measured from the top of the spine to the edge.

My understanding is that these smaller Filis were meant for hair cutting, but heck, whiskers are hair too right?
