Another early French razor in tortoise
Just got this one in hand. I don't know French razors well but would guess late 1700s-early 1800s. Scales are a little worn but are very pretty tortoise. I just wish I could find one of these with a blade that wasn't ground to crap. Last picture is a comparison with another from ~ the same period.

I absolutely love the older razors, can really see how attention to detail declined over the last 3 centuries....those old collars are gorgeous
