I love the razor and great to look at but not a fan of using them. I use straights on clients (around ears and neck) it hard to see around the big blades,,,,, and just not use to them.

Rob, I need to make you a shorty for around ears and neck.
Pretty sure marsh stopped using the pond works stamp around 1860ish and vr crown is for victoria who reigned from 1840ish to 1901 (off the top of my head so dont count on this being 100 pct correct lol...too lazy to look it up again, i restored a marsh brothers recently)

The dates for the stamp is somewhere between 1837 and 1852 and Dennis gave me the history when he restored the one for me..
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

It's funny, I was just nodding my head to another posting "size doesn't matter"... But then I see blades like this and - for me at least - of course size matters! A stunning blade, with some very old history, this is what it's all about! And bet it shaves incredibly!

Thank Dennis . I read up on it and it does have a long history. hard to believe something that old could still be used everyday!! awesome!!
