    Soap and water will be fine,Polish the upper band of the handle,On the enbossed areas use a rouge cloth, that will highlight the rasied portions without getting into the depressions,neat project,what Size knot do you think it needs?

    Thanks! I'm thinking maybe it's 16mm? I'll have to put the calipers on it but that's my guess....

    At 16 you can get a badger from TGN,any smaller you may be out of luck
    I have hand made some boars in smaller sizes but is alot of work.
