Dont think of them as a slurry stone, they impart a grit particle that imparts its own metal removal and polish at a smaller micron that other current naturuals

Mentioned some time back that my barber had one of these as his first razor when he started out 40 years ago and it was somehow lost.
Well hopefully I can clean this up and surprise him with a shave ready piece of nostalgia.
Maybe get a free hot shave out of it.
