Just got some really great news from Brian Brown at Brian Brown Razor Works! My semi-custom razor should be in the mail tomorrow. It's a 7/8 french point with red G10 scales. This will be my first custom. I can't wait!!! I'll show it off as soon as I have it in hand.

A Union cutlery spike, been looking for a good example for a while. One popped up with a very cheap BIN, looks very tidy. No discernible hone wear. The American razors seem to take a very nice edge, no doubt this will too.
A fairly large order from Italian Barber. Razorock XXX, Tuscan Oud, Mudder Focker, and TFS 70th anniversary soaps with matching AS's, Italian Barber Amici shave soap, a styptic pencil, some polsilver DE blades, and a stick of La Toja.

Where did you find 6 Heljestrands MK 32? Are they NOS? nice catch!
Anyway, the Gabet is a piece of art!
Found a seven day set with (sadly) the saturday missing.
I polished them this afternoon. I don't know if they were nos, but they didn't wear any hone mark. :)
The Gabet is indeed a true beauty ! I'm going to take my time to restore it, and then enjoy a good coffee, 1850's style :beer2:
A fairly early (January, 1959) Curta Type II mechanical calculator, to replace a later (1968) Type II that I sold to fund my RAD/HAD/BAD/SAD:
