I had been eyeballing the Rikon 10 inch for 350.00. But the newer Rikon 10 inch is even better at 425.00. I may have to look into this one Roy. Let me know how well it works for ya. At that price I could get a couple more blades.

I checked out the Rikon Model 10-305 and it's a nice saw, the really attractive feature to me is the cast iron table :tu the Grizzly's is stamped steel and the Skil is cast aluminum.
The Rikon's table is also slightly larger (approx an inch both ways) and as the model indicates it has about an inch between the blade and the upright than the Grizzly's 9".
The Rikon 10-305 has the same 1/3 hp rating but it seems to have slightly more amps.
NOW you get into the newer Rikon Model 10-306 and the motor is rated at 1/2 hp. It does have some nice features like not needing wrenches to adjust the blade guides and it now has the quick release for the blade tensioner also it's two speeds. However the website I was at wanted just under $380 for the unit and you paid extra for shipping.
For what little use mine will get the $270 delivered price the Grizzly should be enough for me. If you have the need and the funds that 10-306 does look like a really nice saw.
A Bottle of Mancera Instant Crush. I wanted a 10ml decant by couldn't get locally so was going to cost nearly a ⅓ of the price of a full 120ml bottle. So bottle it is and if its no good will take my decant and resell and should still hopefully be in front of just buying the decant alone.
Yep. The 306 is a little better built. But I'm with ya, Roy. I will be looking again soon. Unless I find a craigslist saw. That's what I'm really hoping for.
In today's Outgoing Mail I've got my 2020 General Election (US) ballot. I hope it gets where it's supposed to.
I did record the bar-code and other such information, and I will check with the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office next week that it's arrived.
Update: It's three hours later, and the mail was picked-up a half-hour ago. I resent having to worry about its arrival: will it get there, at all? will it be timely? will it be intact? I've been a faithful USPS customer for decades, with nothing ever lost or damaged -- neither sent, nor received; so why must I/we -- suddenly and unreasonably -- have our experience gainsaid and our faith challenged? Resent? I'm deeply angered by this. :cen
Aloha!
Just got this Feather Artist Club CLONE from China today. $11.00 ($15 shipped). Certainly much cheaper than the Japanese Feather. First impression, very well built. Nicely cloned. Brass rivets that are tight on the scales. Holds the Feather Artist Club blades securely. I'll shave with it tomorrow, but I can't imagine I'll be disappointed. If it holds the Artist Club blades securely (which it does), then it works for me. I am quite impressed.

good looking clone. I paid dearly for my Feather. 15 bucks? Damn!
I really don't need another stone, I barely have time to shave these days, let alone hone. But I couldn't resist bidding on this Wasserabziehstein stone!

Doesn't everyone have a folding ruler? Nice stone by the way. Save that label if you can.
