Big Blazeku blade from Budapest
Already featured in the SOTD, because I couldn't wait to shave with it, but now, the show and tell.
The blade is a 9/8 full hollow ground (even slightly bellied by the feel of it) spike point, Hungarian razor.
Apart from the Dragon Slayer from Jeness, I don't think I have even ever come across a Hungarian blade, let alone such a cleaver!
It came by in a lot of seven on the local Dutch flea-bay and I told the seller that my only interest was in "the big one".
We quickly got to an agreement and then she was mine.
I'll name her Szerenka. It's a Hungarian girl name meaning calm, happy. Serene, or Serena would be the English equivalent.
Because this blade makes me happy. I polished and honed her the day she came in and had an awesome shave. I think I may have even come to the end of my 4 year journey to find "just that right blade"...
Oh my! Could it be my RAD days are finally over?
I WISH! Haha...
Anyway, feast your eyes to the Blazeku blade from Budapest in horn scales.
Any info on it is welcome, but Google doesn't even know this name.
See if Manah knows this one.
Jeness, feel free to jump in if you know this one.
Enjoy gentlemen.

Congratulations. Quite a find. Enjoy it in good health.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
