    I think they also made scissors. A respected brand, to my knowledge. Get it honed and let us know how it shaved.

    Just honed the one from Sheffield and had my first straight razor shave ! And lived to tell about it ... had to finish some spots with the de but I will call it a success .. no blood no nicks ..the hone job needs to go to the next level , I only have the Norton 4000/8000 stone. I will order a 1000 and 12000 , I can see having a smile on the blade makes honing more of a challenge I will go back through and do that blade again, happy with my ten dollar investment

    cleaned up the wiss and honed and had my second straight shave . Better edge but won't know how close I am till Lynn sends me back mine

    J. Wiss was out of Newark, NJ back when stuff was still made in the good ol' USA. NIce razors.
