Greaves and Bourbon, I love you Kentucky!
Wife and I took a trip down to Kentucky for a long weekend. As always, I managed to convince her to let me browse some antique malls in between our planned distillery tours...
Somehow I missed this monstrosity of homemade wooden scales and Sheffield steel on first glance through a display case. The pricing was done by some strange code, so you had to decipher the amount based on letters. The woman explained the amount was $25, minus 5 dollars... I was so surprised that I didn't even try to haggle over the price.
Pretty much 7/8th across the entire blade, the hone wear looks nice and even, just a couple very minor nicks to take out of the edge. Finally get to add a Greaves & Sons to my collection, not to mention it's a FBU:
And the other goodies I got to bring back with me... a bottle of Willett and Wathen's.

Nice, but do it say Kentucky on the blade?
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
