Newbie trying, what do you all think
So I took this one apart cleaned the best I could w/o destorying the etch.

So I honed it on a corticle, and it is Sheffield steel. So at first it was popping hair but I thought I was doing something wrong. It didnt feel that sharp.Keep in mind my limited skill set. Boy was I wrong the combination can be best described as double buttery.
