Thread: I never thought I would wake up at 7 am on a sunday. My RAD said otherwise.

Hi all,

I recently had been trying to resist buying more razors, but that didn't go so well. I ended up waking up at 7 am to go to the local flea market to see what they had and I ended up breaking down and buying two razors because I couldn't resist. So here they are!

The first is a W.H. morley and sons barber notch in decent restorable condition. The second is a dubl duck goldedge in great condition. The seller included the puma coffin with the purchase.

Now, I just have to to decide which razor to sell to keep the dubl duck. Decisions decisions.

No willpower ! I would have turned my back on that goldedge and walked away .......... like hell I would ..... That is a great find at a flea market. The Morley is alright but that duck is fabulous.

Yeah for $3 on the morley I figured i'd take the shot and try to bring it back to life. The next question is what to do with the duck. There is a small rust stain on part of the blade and the golden edge lettering could use some freshening up. I've restored razors but honestly I dont want to mess with the Dubl Duck because of the plating and how beautiful it is already.

I always look at those kinds of situations and ask myself whether I can make it better than it is or if I'm better off leaving well enough alone.
