Default W&B Celebrated Extra Hollow -- Okay fine, this one can stay.

I have a (possibly) well known antipathy towards post-1880 hollow-ground W&B razors. They're just not weird enough for me, okay?

I am not, however, made of stone!

This one can stay. Especially since it's amply demonstrated that it can clean up after itself.

All I've done is polish off the discoloration from three or four rounds of shaving cream. What you see is the condition I got it in. It was the closest thing I expect to get to NOS. The factory edge was just about as sharp as the razor I shaved with this morning, though it does have a tiny ding in the bevel and that kinda weird dent in the spine. There's no doubt in my mind this'll hone up and shave great... And I probably won't even shake my cane at it and its newfangled 'hollow' grinding.

With a belly no less! Oy! I'm really going on on a limb with this one.

Watch that thing. My first W&B hollow taught me respect right off the bat. Seems it takes corners by cutting them :<0)

None of us are perfect - we all have to give in sometimes. Nice razor!

    Careful Zak,
You start spoiling yourself with fancy new razors like this and you just might end up with a collection of new fangled GDs.

... but honestly, I have to say WOW!

Nothing wrong with 'bending the rules' occasionally Zak...after all the antonym of antipathy is 'attraction', and that is a real attractive hunk of slender beauty to be sure!

To atone for my terrible sin, I promptly found and bought a razor from 1805-1815.

However, I did hone up this W&B. It took a vaguely horrifying edge. It's one of those razors that doesn't feel like it's doing anything. If I end up losing the mole on my cheek to this thing I'll have only myself to blame.

But at least it won't hurt.
