Thanked: 884THAT is a NEAT old knife! Don't see them over here.
I did find an old warrior for a decent price the other day though.
KA-BAR folding hunter with the dogs head shield and "match striker" pull. 1930's or 1940's I figure. Old knife has a pretty full blade yet, snaps good and just a small bit of blade wiggle. It's big hand full of knife.
Somewhere along the line the back scale got broke and was fixed with some kind of putty. Common fix back in the day.
Also found a Utica "rooster nutter". Guy selling it had no idea what it was.
AND, a big Carl Schlieper EYE BRAND "sod buster" with a saw blade. Made in '85.
I didn't steal these, but they were cheap enough to get me to buy 'em.Last edited by Wullie; 09-04-2014 at 02:16 AM.

Acquired a nice Herder Solingen Horticulture Pruner? (perhaps a "Navy Knife") today for a song.
