What kind of time frame are we talking about! Just trying to understand the RAD level. Oh and ah ..... how's the shaving going??
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

How Long? 2 weeks, Wasnt looking for work, Lost my way.
Time frame??? About 2 weeks As a newbie with limited tools. Limited skills Its my best for now.Look at the wooden scales... My first try. Looks like a three year olds work, But its my starting point. So I share where I start from. If others can see me. perhaps it will raise the bar for those who follow after me. Its about my best where I am at an today. and setting a mark for others to surpass.

I could advise getting with Pups and show him the blades. Let him advise which 2 or 3 should be best to get sharp and shave with. Get a few properly honed. Learn to strop and shave. Accumulating a pile of razors is easy. Learning what to look for and how to make them functional is another story. You won't last long collecting and restoring until you master the basics.
Shave and strop first! Move on from there! JMO"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Some of them took hours to half a day to get correct especially the smiles. I been stuck in the library for a month before I attempted this. All straights presented have been bevel set on a 2K then a Blue/White Belguim Corticle. That 10pups said to master on a Gold Dollar before I went to work on the straight shown. I then stropped them on a .5 micron diamond paste from Maggard Razors. Then to the leather strop.I have shaved with all of them. You make a good point. Some shave closer and better than others, Names and pretentioushness aside. 10pups is in Calf. Me Michigan. So I am learning/ apprenticing through this site an PMs. That said I will ask for his input. Good Point. Duly Noted.

Great! Sounds like you are on the path. I hope you know smiles are a good thing. I see more newbs trying to get out smiles than frowns, it seems!
Smiles good! Frowns, BAD!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
