    Default William Harmar and Co

I came across this one buried in a cheap lot. Not every day you see one of these. Tweedale doesn't have a whole lot in the directory on him, but William was born in 1828, and was listed as a Merchant in West Street in 1868 (Tweedale's Directory of Sheffield Cutlery Manufacturers, First Edition 2010). This razor dates somewhere around then. The finish is quite nice considering the age - crocus polish on most of the razor still.

Nice find. Looks like very little wear.

I love me some big curvy Sheffields (I like their razors too!).
