    Default Puma Razor

Got this razor about a month ago and put it aside to concentrate on a restore I was doing.
I am really interested in finding out about the writing on the blade. Has anybody seen something like this? It seems to be a razor that was made for a specific group of users. Thanks in advance for any guidance and help.

It's now had a basic clean up - wiped between the scales with Methylated Spirits got rid of the gunk build up in there.
Polished scales and blade with several applications of Renaissance Wax.
Honed to 8K on Naniwa SS and shave tested - gave a nice smooth shave, that blade felt really sharp.

You have found yourself a popular Puma there. They are getting a little scarce when in good to excellent conditon. I do not believe there were restrictions in terms of distribution in general for the sale of the hohl but the various patent numbers where shown. Enjoy, those are sweet shavers with a proper edge.
Someone more knowlegeable than I am on Pumas may add some info here.

Have one in a lot poorer condition. May may have been chipped or very used. The shaving edge is nearly to the lettering[emoji33]
