Very nice. My rogers are fantastic shavers. Clean it up it should be a beauty. Even if it is far to big for my tastes I still like the looks of it.

Nice one. You'll lose a little getting past the chips but it will still be a plenty impressive hunk of Joseph Rogers. Please don't rescale it just because of the bug bites. Not unless it is cracked or something. Neatsfoot and TLC can bring those 200 year old babies back to life.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 169Yeah, I don't care about that, it is pushing 1 1/4", the chips don't matter much to me. I want to take it off the pins, sand, save the dust, shore up the chips, re-contour and just pop them back on.

Thanked: 169Estate auction. I had fair warning so I dumped off a bunch of pieces where I knew I'd win because I could go to the limit where the $ wouldn't make sense beyond unless you were keeping it forever and a lot of those guys are dealers buying flip stock. They traded shots for awhile but ended up cowering like they always do...
