    Default Todays finds

Just got back from a flea market with these. I was looking for a couple razors I could use to start learning how to restore/repair. I think I did OK.

First is a Eugene Berninghaus Co. Hercules - Germany (Paid $5)

Second is a Ashton & Jackson - Sheffield (paid $7.50)

Last is a Griffon Carbo Magnetic 60 (paid 7.50)

No good, go back and try again but in the meantime, send those to me for proper disposal.

Not sure of the fist two, but I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the Griffon Carbo Magnetic.

I have two and they hone up well and shave great.

Nice finds. It seems the third one will be much easier to restore.

Yes, the 3rd one (Griffon) has no rust, just an even grey patina. Although you can't see it in the picture, it still has the original etching on the blade, it's not very deep but it is there. started cleaning it up tonight. The pivot end will need re-pinned, but the scales are still ok.
