Thread: Genco buying spree!

I've got a fever... And the only prescription... IS MORE GENCO! So I recently posted a thread about a purchase of a Genco Fluid Steel in good shape that's in the mail. Having lost a few auctions on eBay for some nice razors I was interested in, I decided to check out Etsy, my ever so loyal provider. There I happened on these two babies. The off white scales is a Genco 5/8 Fluid Steel in need of some TLC but not in terrible shape for sure. The marbled yellow scales is a Genco 6/8 model B2, professionally honed and in nice shape. Good lord they were both good deals, I just couldn't say no! Hopefully my wife agrees
cant wait to get them! I plan on restoring the fluid steel and making some nice scales for it, maybe flame or quilted maple. I'd like to do satin finish on the tang and spine back, and mirror polish on the blade face.
