    Default An interesting Bengall

Just won this for AUD$32.00. No info about blade width but I'm guessing about 6/8".
I've not seen a Bengall with this sort of heel before.
Does anyone know of the Invicta-Cadman connection ?

I would have guessed that the blade was rescaled, and the box goes with the scales, not the razor. But I know so little about manufacturers and such that I may be incorrect.

Neat razor. The way the tang and shoulder meet is really cool.

Interesting blade style for sure. The pinning at the pivot on the off side looks a bit odd, hard to tell though, so I am thinking a rescale also. I have seen that tang/heel style on some other older English razors too. I think it is kind of classy looking.

We would be very interested whether or not the pitting/black rot will interfere with the bevel. For your sake we hope not. Keep us posted on this blade please............
