I picked this up a couple of weeks ago in a completely random setting. Far and away my coolest german blade where the blade is the whole show and not in a balancing act with ornate scales. I can't say best, because I have a big ATOR, and I refuse to think anything from germany will trump one of those, but look at the thing... Believe it or not, it was even larger by a touch, but the previous owner must have removed a bit of corrosion with something slightly too abrasive and left a deep scratch at the bevel which split a touch at the edge so I had to hone it out. Fresh off an Escher and will get its first go later! Looking forward to this one, it's just a beautifully made blade. I can't find any data whatsoever about Fessom, sadly.
