Rob, I'm glad that you like the way they Look but most importantly How They Shave.

To be privileged to be able to clean up and hone an Heirloom was Very stressful but at the same time an Honor! (I'd warned Rob about the possibility of the scales breaking, the blade cracking etc/I once had a pair of vintage scales actually 'crumble' in my hand when starting to hone) The Duck was Rob's Grandfather's (what did you call him/'Pa Pa'?) I was glad that not only did it clean up nice and hone to such a nice edge but those fragile scales were gracious enough to not 'break or otherwise be destroyed' during the entire stay here at the Boars Nest.

The W&B was really fun to work on.

Yea it took a lot of hand work but it came out nice and I didn't run into any geometric problems, wave/warp etc AND it took a really nice edge.

Hell maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to know what I'm doing

Good work on both returning those razors to shaving glory but also saving a part of a family's heritage. Roy, you dun good.
