Thanks, I thought they were a little too shiny to be horn because most of the old horn scaled razors I have show a much deeper grain. Plus I don't remember any vintage horn being beveled like these ones are. Not that I'm complaining, I much prefer natural to synthetic materials.

Thanked: 884I figure most of the time the old horn you see with the raised grain is simply because it hasn't been taken care of as well as yours appears to have been.
Horn will get smooth as glass when sanded and polished..
Once again, NICE old razor.
