Default Joseph Rodgers with scissor tail

I acquired this Joseph Rodgers razor recently and was wondering if anyone else had seen a straight razor with this scissor-handle-like tail as I had never seen or heard of it before. The seller told me he had had a total of three in his thirty years of collecting; one that he sold years ago, this Joseph Rodgers he sold me, and one with gunstock ivory scales that he was keeping.

+1 I've never seen one either. I don't know how I could shave with one like that?

Very cool!!! I would think that would have caught on since a barber could hang his razor easily. Is it any harder to handle with that there?

Razor rich, but money poor. I should have diversified into Eschers!

Is the one with the tag on it the one he is keeping? It has different scales on it of course. Did he have anything else for sale?
