Thanked: 1184I couldn't have said it better Richard.
Andrew you have to be careful here. DAD is a little more expensive than your typical RAD. As you can guess I have been diagnosed as terminal. This is most of the razors and then there is another box of stuff around here somewhere lacking only the barber supply uniform. I haven't seen one yet is why.
Wullie I keep them under wraps so I forget how much I like other brands. I haven't had to sell my pick up yet to pay razor bills and want to keep it that way. There are some odd balls in there much like this Greaves. Maybe worth something someday. After I'm gone :<0)
The 2 rows on the left and that roll are keepers. The rest are just visiting for awhile.
Ted the Reaper in the back ground is a Lifetime in ICU. I will show before and after shots next week. Not part of my collection. I was working on skin grafts when the mail man interrupted me.
Thanks for all the kind words guys. It is really a pile of work I have to get back too finishing. Sometimes my plan feels more like a 10,000 piece puzzle and the pieces are all the same color. I am hell bent on getting more organized and focused so the sharing comes more naturally.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Can you make out what is stamped on the frame? Maybe Patent? I have a very similar one, this is only the second Greaves brass frameback from that period I've seen. http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ml#post1018655
There's a similar one in one of Lummus' articles but it's a different maker.
