Thread: Stierlin scrimshaw razor, possible harpoon blade?

I would recreate the frame using a brass tube. Measure and drill the three holes in the tube first, then cut along the entire frame so it can be slid over the razor. Then use either brass rods with a shim (or microfasteners if you want it to come off quickly) to peen it securely on the razor.

Just use the razor width to find the correct tube radius which would create the proper bevel angle.
