Default Wade and Butcher India Steel - John M. Coleman

Zak basically made me buy this one when I showed him the link on Etsy. How could I pass it up? The scales are trashed on the other side, but maybe I can save part of them. They are pressed horn "Celebrated Razor" on reverse and "John M. Coleman" (I have not yet had a chance to research him) on the obverse. The blade is similar to the actual Ottomon Egyptian pattern. I love the lines of it.

It's been grotesquely hot here in California-land, even along the coast where I live, or I'd have researched this by now... But so far, I'm turning up zip on Mr. Coleman.

However, one hit I found is worth sharing here.

Why this turned up searching for John M. Coleman is a complete mystery, as the name appears nowhere in the book.
