    Default Another razor from Max

    This morning I used a French Point for the first time. I had a close and comfortable shave. It went thru my 5 day growth of whiskers with no problem. It's a H. & J. W. King - New York 6/8 - 1/8 hollow with Blue Paua scales from Max Sprecher. It's a beautiful razor and shaves great. It's one of my new favorites in my collection.

    Sorry for the ugly cell phone pic, the razor looks so much better than that.

    You are a lucky man and that is a good looking straight razor. Max's work, both custom and restorations, are always first rate. Enjoy.

    Pics can't capture the true colors of the scales. If you tilt the razor back and forth in the sunlight the colors seem to move and change.
