Thread: C V Heljestrand

I don't know much about Heljestrand strops but maybe it was bought in Paris.

I know that there are some Heljestrand razors out there that are marked Royal Kindal so Mr Kindal certainly did have his name on some of Heljestrand's razors(+ other products?), it's just that MK is not meant to be his initials, although maybe he didn't mind if his customers thought they were.

That being said, Magnus' own granddaughter (Mackie or so I've read) seems to pretend that MK indeed represents her ancestor's initials.

Don't know where the truth is, two version, yours makes quite a good explanation.

Didn't see that you'd replied until after I had replied to Rob but it certainly wouldn't be bad for business if customers thought that the world famous MK mark were your initials.
