Thanked: 3226French Frame Back
Got this one today locally. It is the first French razor I have seen locally and as I do not have a French razor or a real Frame Back in my rotation it came home with me. Gave it a quick clean with Mothers and 0000 steel wool and it is off to the hones. I was able to find some info on the maker/retailer here http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ay-razors.html . If it shaves well I may decide to do some sanding on it or not.

Thanked: 2284Nice Bob. I'm starting to get a hankering for some more frame backs. A french one found locally is very key. Congratulations on the find!

Thanked: 3226Thanks guys. I understand to get the best out of a french razor the drinking of wine and shaving by candle light to set the right mood is required.

Thanked: 116They do shave nicely, I have added a few French razors to the collection since.
I still haven't been able to find more information on the razor maker.
