    Default French Frame Back

Got this one today locally. It is the first French razor I have seen locally and as I do not have a French razor or a real Frame Back in my rotation it came home with me. Gave it a quick clean with Mothers and 0000 steel wool and it is off to the hones. I was able to find some info on the maker/retailer here http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ay-razors.html . If it shaves well I may decide to do some sanding on it or not.

Nice Bob. I'm starting to get a hankering for some more frame backs. A french one found locally is very key. Congratulations on the find!

Thanks guys. I understand to get the best out of a french razor the drinking of wine and shaving by candle light to set the right mood is required.

They do shave nicely, I have added a few French razors to the collection since.

I still haven't been able to find more information on the razor maker.

Got it honed up last night and shaved with it this morning. I'd agree they do shave nicely. Thanks for finding that info, it saved me a lot of looking.
