Size: 49.0 KBThe first is my palmer 21. The other is clauss shear with nice acorn scales. The palmer is not pretty, but a great shaver.

Both are excellent example of the razor art in manufacture. The quality of both is great and you have made a couple wise choices.

Well thank you. I like them just fine. The clauss was not shaving as well as i wanted. I stropped it with my CR02 impregnated canvas, (not pictured) and gave it a good refreshing. It shaves well now, but i have noticed each razor has a "personality " of its own.

Nice razors! It's hard to go wrong with vintage razors. Did you buy your "Mac" strop off ebay from a seller based in Montreal?

I have handled these strops, and wasn't impressed with the quality of the leather, they are made in Pakistan with what looks like very hard bonded leather. I suppose it will serve as a passible beginners strop, but once you become more proficient at stropping ( without nicking your leather) you might want to consider getting a quality strop.

I did get it from Canada, i have oiled the leather in hopes of softening it, but i like my other strop better.
