    Default Unique Joseph Elliot

Here's a unique Joseph Elliot I acquired for cheap. It has The W. B. Co., Cleveland, Ohio on the side the maker is usually on & on the other side is Joseph Elliot's Best Silver Steel, Sheffield, England so it had to be made after 1890 for a company in the US. It has a small nick in the blade near the heel but other than that, it has a nice smile to it.

A bit of regrinding of the shoulder will be necessary to prevent honing problems. I have an Elliot of that period and it turned out to be a nice pleasant shaver.
    Good catch!

Nice blade. I have a scaleless Elliot I will be getting to this winter that I look forward to shaving with. As Richard said, I hear they are great shavers.
    Nice clean catch..
    Cheers.
