2 new razors
So I got 2 new razors in the mail coming a 5/8 Ern full Hollow and a 11/16 Joseph Wood Wedge
They need to be honned.

the Wood looks like it was made to have a comb/guard attached to it. They shave just fine without though. After they are honed you will be very happy.

Donn't know comb/guard what is the bennifit, and can you still buy them somewhere?

I have a Torrey with a comb attachment on it. I have yet to clean it & hone it. Kamp, you need to keep a lookout on eBay or in our classifieds here make a want to buy ad to see if anybody has one. It looks like it was made for one. Originally Posted by RezDog

Here is my Henckels that as also built for use with a guard. I have never had a guard for it but it shaves just fine without it. I suspect that they are all similar enough that if you really anted on any one would do the trick. There are a lot of Weck razors out there with the guard, and they are very inexpensive.Geezer and Leatherstockiings like this.It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
