If you're new, especially in restoration, I wouldn't advise you to do it yourself on this set.

One MK33 itself is rare and valuable. A seven day set in MK33, in good shape like this one, is really priceless.

I would be ready to trade a lot of things for this beauty...

This set was sold as an auction with a BIN option. There was a single photo of one blade listed in the description. I couldn't reach the seller to ask questions and was afraid someone else would snag this set if I didn't act fast. I pulled the trigger on the BIN. It was gamble, but I couldn't be happier with this set. The BIN price was a steal.

I have no intention of working on these myself. I will be sending them out for restoration. I am also going to have the box restored.

Well done, I wonder if you realize yet how lucky you are?
This is the stuff of legend.
Like the old car for sale in garage. Price $100. Old woman says It was just bought by my son. Never came back from the war.
Under the cover sits 66 Corvette with 50 miles on it.
Rare like that. Makes a hole in one in golf look like childs play.
The challenge is getting them restored. If but one at a time. One a year. Once finished you will have something that is whispered about.
Your pictures prove it really happened. WOW.

You got a steal if they only showed one razor which a lot of people probably passed on. That might be why I never saw it.

This is a link to the listing:

I definitely took a chance on this set and got incredibly lucky. Unbelievably lucky. I am still in shock. Going to send the entire set out after the holidays for a full restore. It is going to be a gift to myself this year.

Thanks for all the kind words

    Anex,

Welcome to SRD and nice job on snagging that 7-day set. You have a good eye for Ebay.
