W&B ready for the stones ..
a month ago or so i spent $30 at an antique store and walked out with these . (ive showed already )
well i had the same razor b4 and sent it out for a restore !! as beautiful as it was in my head i was torn between how good it looked and how much was lost ..!! so this time i wanted to keep it pretty close to how i found it !!
i started off removing some numbers carved into the horn , followed by some hand sanding to remove some heavy spots of rust on the tang and spine , followed up by a tighten job of the pins and a buffering of the lead , washers , & scales(and a clean?oil job) !!
nothing fancy but saved or prolonged what damage was starting to take place !! bevel is nice and even and will need a reset but soon as i get around to it im sure it will shave well !!
to start!!
FINISHED ..( its not a Greaves but it will look good on the shelf below them)

Thanked: 4828I can't believe you keep an anvil in the bathroom. I have heard of people keeping strange things in a variety of places but that is mighty peculiar. Nice blade, sometimes I like a little age showing.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
