Nope.
But my Boker RADIUM razor has oxidation weird enough that I'm afraid to buff it.-Zak Jarvis. Writer. Artist. Bon vivant.

Thanked: 118I would commit murder for that MOP/tortoiseshell Elliot. Elliots are my favorite razors to collect as they are usually overlooked for the W&B/Wostenholm/Rodgers big names on Ebay.
I was lucky enough to see a lot listed on Ebay with a BIN option less than an hour after being posted. I noticed what was clearly a Joseph Elliot FBU with what looked like a big blade so I decided to roll the dice and buy the lot.
When I got it in I took it out of the coffin box and my knees started to shake, lol. At 1.17 inch in width it is just a fraction under 19/16.
It had a light cleaning and honed up a treat with a tiny bevel. It is a quarter hollow grind which I am grateful for before it is still very heavy. Sorry, I don't have a post-cleaning photo but this is a nice photo showing the size of the blade.

Thanked: 1184Love your signature by the way. I always hate explaining to some kid that I am taking my 200+ dollar Resistol off his head, why his dad decided to take a sudden nap on the ground :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.
