I also got this one in the mail. I was told it was restored by Max. It's an awesome Elliot! I already showed the pics from eBay but this is from my camera..........
The scales are awesome & multi-colored. The pics do it no justice.

The scales appear to be horn with white streaks in them. You really can't see them. My camera is an older Canon 8 megapixel Elph.
    Thanks for the comment!

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

Yeah, I have acquired some nice ones lately but being on disability, my money is going & I need to find something to supplement my monthly SS payments which pretty much covers my rent. The SS Administration will not allow me to get a part time job & make no more than $740 gross before it affects my monthly payments. I have my other bills such as utilities, food (for me & my dog), gas & a few other bills. I surely don't want to give up my cable tv. I think even people on disability should be able to have cable. There isn't anything good on regular tv. My Harley is my only source of transportation for now & I have some money set aside for a good dependable used car. or truck. I'm tired of riding in the winter especially if it is raining. The government just isn't fair for people on disability. I would prefer to be my own boss & work from home rather than to have to spend time & gas to get to a job just to make a few dollars unless I were to be paid cash! I have a bad back & I never dreamed my feet would go bad like they have. A lob would be very limited since I CAN be on my feet & walk around but not for long periods of time. Perhaps if I could make a dvd on restoring & repairing straight razors could be a plus & is one idea. Any other ideas from you guys/gals would be greatly appreciated. Aside from that, I really love my straight razors & don't want to have to sell any of my collection which is my livelihood these days!
Thank you very much for your comment steel.
